A brand new day.

After much thinking and deliberation, I decided to do for myself what I have in the past suggested other people do – start a video blog. I’ll focus on my personal area of interests, they are quite disjointed.

In no particular order:

Musical instruments. Vintage Synths, modulars, drums, guitars, pedals, etc. We’ll do some tear downs of a few of my survivors. I’m itching to build a modular analog beast and an a reissued Arp 2600 from Sweden. I also have my eye on a 303 – everybody needs a 303. Also if woodworking is more your style I have a few drum shells that are in need of serious attention not to mention serious hardware.
Electronics and circuit bending. Since this is a video blog and I have on good authority that lots of lights are essential for video production – we will start with a home grown LED video light kit. Since the last time I worked with solder and an iron I was fixing VCRs (if you don’t know what those are — there where magical machines that existed in their own time zone where it was always 12:00) with fingers crossed and a fire extinguisher, both the lab and I will survive. There are a few Arduino projects that should also be fun.
Zen and the art of BMW repair. Oh yes the Miami taxi. I have two and from time to time they will make an appearance. So your windows don’t work, and you need to do an oil change? How hard can it be.
iOS music apps. I’ll take a look at a few that I think are brilliant and review them.

To get ready for all these projects, here are a few items making their way to sunny So. Fla.
